フーリガン（位置について） ギャラリーオーブ 2023

作家 曽根裕が制作を行う姿勢に「建築家になるために美術を選んだ」というものがある。彼は《月の裏側に人工芝を敷くパフォーマンス》(1994) という作品の中で、四枚の写真、インタビュー記事、フィルムを用い、虚構を現実として成立させてしまう状況を制作した。

彼の作品が建築のスケールを超えた風景を生み出すのに対し、それを踏まえた本展では、会場内に敷かれた フィールドのような空間とその上でパフォーマンスする作品との合間に、文字通り未知の物語/虚構を 差し込むことで、個人的な物語が立ち上がる足元に建築のスケールによる介入を試みる。

また、そうした状況を会場における肉体の高負荷として捉え、空間自体が運動することを試みる。

Artist Yutaka Sone's approach to his work is that "I chose art to become an architect. In his "Performance of Laying Artificial Turf on the Backside of the Moon" (1994), he used four photographs, an interview, and film to create a situation in which fiction becomes reality. While his works create landscapes that transcend the scale of architecture, this exhibition attempts to create an intervention on an architectural scale by inserting literally unknown stories/fictions between the field-like space laid out in the exhibition space and the works performed on it, thereby intervening at the foot of the personal stories that emerge. The space itself will also attempt to be put into motion by considering such a situation as a physical overload in the venue.
